Welcome, you. This is about me and them.

So here we are. Just me, them and you. All of us affecting each others lives in some way. It is often the small things that cling together amidst the big things that then become the important things. The small things are where life happens. Where love becomes real, beauty lasts and humor can be found. Those are the things I want to share. Those are the things that put a smile on my face. The perfect shade of lipstick, that every time you wear it you can't help but smile. The little boy in my life with long hair and giant eyes the color of the sky that brings so much joy to my heart that I think it will burst. The lovely little ladies that are becoming more like me with every passing day. The man that has been there, is still here and is never going anywhere. A lasting love that makes me wonder how someone can love me so much. An old photograph. Black and white or sepia print. The one of the young couple from a time long ago before I was even a thought in the heart of my mother. The photo that instantly makes you realize that you missed a period of time that you are certain was great. Those are the little things. Those are the things I want to write about.
